Fat loss is achieved when you burn more calories than you eat. Thus, less than normal eating is the cornerstone of any fat loss diet.
The problem with most diets is that they are bored with their diets. They eat about the same day in, day out. When they get bored they cheat, or just stop dieting effectively halting their fat loss.
A technique used by many athletes can lose by almost everyone interested in fat to be used is used, zig-zag your carbohydrate intakeEveryday life.
For example, on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, you would eat carbohydrates, as usual, but on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday you would be eating 0 carbohydrates. On day 0 carbohydrates you eat (only lean meat and green vegetables, although they have some carbohydrates in them, most are fiber, which you absolutely need).
What you get from this zig-zag of carbohydrates a) you feel better about the 4 days you eat carbs and b) you keep losing fat, carb because these free days are thenvery low in calories. Since you are doing just that, 3 times per week you will not slow down your metabolism.
On the days you eat carbohydrates is limited to the following: brown rice, all bran cereal, fruit, whole wheat bread, whole wheat, pita bread, potatoes, yams and sweet potatoes. They are called the glycemic index that it will keep your blood sugar levels under control too low.
Try this technique if your fat loss hasstopped.
