Panasonic bread makers, especially the SD-YD250 and its sister model, the SD-YD205 are two models of the bread maker that I have come, even in recent years. I'm an avid baker and I have heard a number of these devices from other manufacturers in the past.
The SD-YD250 at around $ 130 – which is a big difference from the time I bought at $ 250 is cheap. It is on the market for a number of years and is one of the larger models with a2.5 lb capacity. This automatic bread machine offers features such as:
13 hours timer
Italian Fashion
Raisin Fashion
Sandwich Bake Mode
Crust Color Control
Bake Only Mode
Non-stick coated pan
Rapid Bake Mode
Wholemeal mode
Safety Fuse
Basic Mode
Failure Safety
Multi-Grain mode
Digital Timer
French Bread Mode
Dough Fashion
Yeast Pro ™ Dispenser
3 different sizes Loaf – Small, Mediumand Gross
Dough Fashion
Let's see … I can use this device to make my own pizza other than the many different types of bread mode. I love pizza and there is nothing like my own, and this device allows me to do it easily. I must say, the different sizes of bread and awkward measurements, which were included in the recipes were initially quite confusing, but if you have a kitchen scale then you are beautiful!
I do not like the fact that many devices used for cleaning, but require, are messy, and Ihad no such problems with this well-designed and built appliance. The only other downside is that there is no display windows – which often have to be experts bread makers, so wish to do a little creative and innovative with their bread.
The sister of the Panasonic SD-YD250, the Panasonic SD-YD205 is smaller model with similar but less settings and is competitive at around $ 110 price. It is almost the same as the large model andwith great skill as well.
It has the following functions:
Sandwich bread mode
Raisin Bread mode or in either the white or wheat Settings
Multi-Grain
100% Whole Wheat Fashion
Rapid-mode (3 hours)
Dough Fashion
13-hour digital timer
Finally, I would say that for the price, it is more than well founded, although there are a few initial setbacks. Panasonic bread makers are some of the best on the market available atthis price range. I would recommend them, especially for those who are new to bread making, as they could with experience want to be a wee creative and innovative with their breads, as already mentioned.
